He received the B.S. degree in information science, the M.E. degree in　engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in computer
science from the University of Tsukuba, Ibaraki, in 2003, 2005, and 2008, respectively. He was a research fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science from 2005 to 2008. He joined NTT Network Innovation Laboratories in 2008 and studied high-performance stream processing system and multilayer dynamic network provisioning /control systems. He is currently　studying software-defined networking and network virtualization technology. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery, the Information Processing Society of Japan, and IEEE.
