Smriti Parsheera

Smriti Parsheera is a lawyer and policy researcher with the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy in New Delhi, where she leads the telecom and technology policy team. Her other work has spanned across the areas of competition policy, consumer protection, regulatory governance and financial sector reforms. Smriti has also held research positions with the United Nations Development Programme and the Competition Commission of India. Before moving to the field of public policy, she worked with the M&A practice group of a commercial law firm in Delhi.

Smriti graduated from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore and holds a Master in Law degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She has also completed a certificate course in law and business from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
