Shengmei Zhao was a professor and a doctoral supervisor of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Her research includes in Quantum Information technology, signal and information processing in wireless telecommunication system. She was an honorary senior research fellow in the department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Glasgow from 14 Sep. 2008 to 31 Dec. 2009. And she was a visiting researcher in the Quantum Computation & Information Project of ERATO/SORST program organized by JST, Japan from February 2010 to March 2010. Professor Zhao was the leader of Innovation Project of JiangSu Province in signal & information processing, and was the senior member of the JiangSu Communication Society. She had published more than 150 research papers, which was cited by SCI more than 200 timesand two papers was included in ESI. She was committee member of AQIS’09, and session chair of AQIS08-12, session chair of WCSP 2016.
