Forum on Strengthening digital transformation in Latin America

Description
The concept of digital transformation is increasingly being adopted to drive urban governance, address socio-spatial disparities and promote integrated sustainable development in Latin America. However, for the Latin American region to successfully embrace digital transformation, it needs to focus on how the new technologies can help better serve their inhabitants, train them and empower them on a day-to-day basis for their daily lives, and build inclusive and resilient communities that will improve the human urban experience for all.
The two-day forum has the following objectives:
- Highlight successful projects, initiatives, standards;
- Provide a platform for sharing best practices and successful programmes to strengthening digital transformation in Latin America.
Participation
Participants will learn how the digital transformation may be accelerated in Latin America.
Expected outcome
The forum is designed to empower participants with a methodology, frameworks, toolkits and contextually relevant case studies to accelerate digital transformation. In addition, participants will also be able to learn about projects and initiatives for digital transformation in the Latin American region.
