Biographies

​​Shuguang Qi
Chairman, ITU-T SG5RG-AP, ITU

Shuguang Qi graduated from Beijing University of posts and telecommunications in 2007 and holds a master’s degree in computer science. She has been working in the field of ICT environment and infrastructure for more than 10 years. Currently she is the Vice Director and senior engineer at the Energy and Environmental department of China Telecommunication Technology Labs in China Academy of Information and Communication Technology (CAICT). Her focuses include fundamental Research, prospective study and standardization work in ICT environment and infrastructure.
 
She is also Vice-chair of ITU-T Study Group 5; Chair of the ITU-T Study Group 5 Asia Pacific regional group; and also Chair of Working Group 1 / Technical Committee 4 (Power and environment for ICT) in China Communication Standardization Association (CCSA). She developed about 10 Recommendations as a chief editor in ITU such as the  ITU-T L.1302, ITU-T L.1325, ITU-T L.1200 series Recommendations. Moreover, she is also very active in Chinese domestic standardization activities and developed more than 20 Chinese standards including National standards, industrial standards and regional standards. She has received first prize scientific rewards from China Institute of Communications in 2013 and first prize scientific reward from CCSA in 2017. Her recent government projects are “Energy efficiency technology Directories in ICT industry” in 2017 and “Research on safety production in data center” in 2018.
Reyna Reyna​ Ubeda
Project Officer, ITU

Reyna Ubeda studied Industrial Engineering and she completed a Master on International Management from the University for Economics and Environment Nürtingen- Geislingen in 2014.

She joined the ITU’s Standardization Bureau in 2015. She is part of the team that supports ITU-T's activities related to IoT, Smart Cities, ICTs, the Environment Climate Change and Circular Economy. Reyna speaks English, Spanish and German.​​​
