Executive Summary
ITU-T SG17 'Security', e-plenary, 12:00-15:00 hours Geneva time, 11 and 12 July 2024
SG17 held this e-plenary to focus on conducting final review of draft SG17 reports to WTSA-24 for submission to TSAG meeting (29 July – 2 August 2024).
It approved:
- SG17 report to WTSA-24 - Part I, General, as contained in TD2136R1, includes SG17 title, mandate, points of guidance, lead study roles and responsibility for Recommendations
- SG17 report to WTSA-24 - Part II, Questions, as contained in TD2137, includes SG17 structure with 12 Questions and texts of Question A to J of SG17 for next study period.
- liaison to TSAG to convey draft Parts I and II of SG17 reports to WTSA-24 in SG17-LS136.
- liaison to TSAG requesting TSAG endorsement of revised texts of Question 1/17 and 15/17 in SG17-LS137 so that they take effect for next SG17 (2-6 September 2024) meeting.
- Revision of CG-COP ToR to add a new co-convener. (ref. TD2125R1).
- Establishment of a collaborative team to revise common text ITU-T X.1058 | ISO/IEC 29151 (ref. TD2141R1).
