The public and media are invited to attend an interactive dialogue, networking and knowledge-sharing event exploring the power of tech for good in the digital age. The event is organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the United Nations specialized agency for information and communication technologies (ICT), with the generous support of the London School of Economics (LSE), and will be held at the LSE Wolfson Theatre in London on 22-23 May. It is part of ITU's ICT for the Sustainable Development Goals (ICT4SDG) Academia Partnership Platform initiative.

The event will bring together some of the leading scholars with the authors of the ITU book ICT-centric economic growth, innovation and job creation, launched on 11 October, 2017 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The book highlights the challenges and development opportunities ICTs bring in the areas of innovation, governance, education, job creation and economic growth.

The event will also focus on existing and new areas for additional collaborative research and partnerships in today's digital ecosystem.

Registration is being carried out exclusively online. The deadline for registration is 30 April 2018. All participants, including media, are encouraged to register early in order to obtain a badge, which will facilitate access to the venue.
