Global Youth Index – A snapshot of Youth Development Today

Participants learned about the Global Youth Index, a practical tool for policymakers and youth to identify priorities for change and to track progress over time.

The Global Youth Index has been filling an information gap related to youth development since the first edition in 2018. This second and improved edition of the Global Youth Index since 2018 assesses the state of youth development in 30 countries across different geographies and levels of development. It compiles metrics on the factors, policies and institutions that drive youth development. It also provides a practical tool for policy makers and youth to identify priorities for change and to track progress over time. We want the Index to support policy makers in creating opportunities for youth to take the decisions that will shape their future.
