The Plenipotentiary Conference, the supreme decision-making body of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), opened today in Bucharest, Romania.

At this highest-level meeting, 193 Member States are set to agree on ITU’s strategic and financial plans, leadership, and direction for the next four years.
