Digital technologies can drive game-changing progress

On 17 September, during the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the top officials of two key UN organizations welcomed leaders, innovators, and representatives of governments, the private sector, financial institutions, civil society, youth, and the UN system to SDG Digital in New York.
In joint opening remarks, ITU Secretary-General Doreen Bogdan-Martin and UNDP Administrator Achim Steiner called for game-changing progress to achieve the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
