How to become a Partner or Champion?
ITU-convened and partner-led, all partners are expected to actively contribute to GDA, its strategy and the execution of its intended actions.
Partnership is open to governments, international institutions, or private sector entities that cost-share GDA expenses at a min. of 50’000 CHF annually, to organize events and communication activities, run the GDA Secretariat, and support progress on intended actions. Partnership is also open to a select group of non-profits and in-kind supporters on invitation.
GDA Championship is open to governments, international institutions, or private sector entities with a 1.5 degree aligned science-based target for emissions reductions. GDA Champions support progress of GDA overall or for specific initiatives with a contribution of a minimum 200’000 CHF annually, ideally for a period of three years. Champions benefit from enhanced exposure and visibility and are invited to participate in GDA Advisory Board meetings at C-level.
