Regional Development Forum for Africa (RDF-AFR) 2025

The Regional Development Forum for Africa Region (RDF-AFR) takes place on 7 April 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya. It is followed by the Regional Preparatory Meeting for WTDC-25 for Africa (RPM-AFR) from 8 to 9 April.

RDF-AFR is organized at the kind invitation of the Communications Authority of Kenya.

The Annual Regional Development Forum for Africa Region provides an opportunity for an exchange of views between ITU and decision-makers of ITU Member States and Sector Members, as well as other stakeholders in the Africa region.

RDF-AFR will report on the outcomes and implementation of the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-22), held in Kigali, Rwanda, in June 2022, in particular the progress made in the realization of the Regional Initiatives for Africa approved by the WTDC-22.

RDF-AFR 2025 is open to all stakeholders willing to strengthen cooperation and partnership among telecommunication/ICT policymakers, regulators, industry, academia, regional and international development agencies, and organizations on specific regional telecommunication and ICT matters.

RDF-AFR is a paperless forum. Documents related to this event, including the agenda, presentations, and practical information with guidance on how to connect to the online platform, were made available through this web page.
