Connect2Recover Projects in Europe


In the Europe region, Connect2Recover methodology was used in the assessment for Ukraine in response to Council Resolution 1408.  Further information is found here.

In Montenegro, a pilot on IPv6 laboratory was established. After a competitive bidding process, the vendor was selected to provide the equipment. The equipment has been delivered and installed at the IPv6 laboratory at the University of Montenegro. In addition, the installation and configuration and training has been completed. The IPv6 laboratory was successfully launched on 27 September 2023. Further information is found here.

In Moldova, technical assistance was provided to develop the early warning assessment based on cell broadcast implementation. The work has been completed. A series of consultations were held with key national stakeholders from 18 to 20 October 2023. The deliverables were finalised and the closing workshop was held on 26 January 2024.

In Georgia, technical assistance was provided to develop the National Emergency Telecommunication Plan. The work has been completed and a national workshop was held in Tbilisi, Georgia on 13 February 2024.
