Joining Process

  • Fill and sign the application form
    In the membership hub, enter your organization and contact details. Sign the application form and send the signed form to us via email.

  • Review
    The application form will be submitted for review to the national telecommunication administration of the ITU Member State (i.e. country) where your entity is based.
  • Invoicing
    An invoice will be sent, indicating the annual fee.

    The membership account will be activated upon receipt of payment.

To determine the right membership type for your entity, you can review the different benefits per membership type here. If you want to participate in all ITU-D events and meetings, the right type for you is to apply as a Sector Member. If you are interested in participating in a single selected study group, you can join as an Associate.

If you are an university or research institution, you can join as an Academia member.
