The UMC Project
In April 2023, ITU and the European Commission announced a €3-million global project to promote and measure universal and meaningful digital connectivity (UMC). The project aims to promote UMC as a policy objective, improve the quality and availability of UMC statistics, and identify promising policies for accelerating progress towards UMC.
