A joint letter was signed with UNHCR to strengthen our partnership and enhance the digital inclusion of refugees, internally displaced and stateless people at global, regional, and country levels. Spurred on by the UN Secretary General’s Roadmap for Digital Cooperation, ITU and UNHCR will work together more systematically to accelerate digital inclusion of forcibly displaced and stateless people, in alignment with the Roadmap’s key areas of focus, building synergies between the two agencies’ approaches to, and expertise in, digital technology and connectivity.
