تحدد التوصية ITU-T G.8272/Y.1367 متطلبات ميقاتيات المرجع الزمني الأولية (PRTC) المناسبة لتزامن الوقت والطور والتردد في شبكات الرزم. وهي تعرِّف الخطأ المسموح في خرج وقت الميقاتية PRTC. وتسري هذه المتطلبات ضمن الظروف البيئية العادية الموصَّفة للمعدات. ويقدم التعديل 2 التحديثات التالية: ( تعديل مجال التطبيق. ( تحديثات للمراجع الواردة في الفقرة 2. ( تعديل نص القسم 6. ( إضافة إحالة إلى المعيار IEEE 1588-2019 في الفقرة 2.6. ( النص الجديد المضاف في إطار الفقرة 7، الاستبقاء. ( حذف المرجع [b-1588-2009] من قسم البيبليوغرافيا.
