تعد خدمة تلفزيون بروتوكول الإنترنت (IPTV) الشخصية مثالاً على مناولة أحداث التطبيقات. وبعد الحصول على إذن المستعملين النهائيين، يُسمح لموردي الخدمات بتقديم خدمات شخصية مثل توصيات المحتوى والسطوح البينية الشخصية للمستعملين والإعلانات الشخصية وبعض الخدمات التفاعلية. ويمكن تحقيق التطبيق بناءً على معمارية التلفزيون IPTV القائمة للمساعدة في توفير أنواع مختلفة من الخدمات الشخصية (PS) للتلفزيون IPTV.
