Requisitos y marco de capacidades de las pasarelas habilitadas para la tecnología de computación periférica en el marco de la Internet de las cosas |
Las pasarelas son un componente importante de los sistemas de Internet de las cosas (IoT), que permite a los dispositivos IoT conectarse a redes de comunicación. Las tecnologías de computación periférica pueden resultar útiles para la IoT y aportarle capacidades de computación, almacenamiento, conexión en red e inteligencia en las proximidades de los dispositivos IoT. En comparación con una pasarela común [UIT-T Y.4101], las pasarelas habilitadas para la tecnología de computación periférica en el marco de la IoT (o pasarelas IoT habilitadas para la CP) poseen capacidades adicionales que admiten el interfuncionamiento de la capa de servicio y el interfuncionamiento de la capa de aplicación entre dispositivos IoT, plataformas IoT y servidores de aplicaciones IoT. Además, las pasarelas IoT habilitadas para la CP soportan capacidades de transmisión de datos para aplicaciones IoT sensibles al tiempo, la latencia, la fluctuación y la pérdida de paquetes. Partiendo de los requisitos y capacidades comunes de las pasarelas para aplicaciones IoT [UIT-T Y.4101], así como de los requisitos de IoT para dar soporte a la computación periférica [UIT-T Y.4208], se especifican capacidades adicionales y se define el marco de capacidades de las pasarelas IoT habilitadas para la CP. También se facilitan ejemplos de aplicaciones de este tipo de pasarelas. |
