ITU-T Y.1540建议书定义了可能用于规定和评估国际网际协议(IP)数据通信业务的IP包传送速度、准确性、依赖性和可用性性能参数。定义的参数适用于端对端、点对点IP业务和根据第2节规定的标称参考提供或帮助提供此类业务网络部分。无连接传输是本建议书考虑的IP业务的一个区别之处。 本建议书在生效20多年后,其2019年版承认最终用户使用的IP服务设计和协议发生了许多变化。建议书引入了新的附录A,该附录以符合评估的方式定义了IP层容量参数,并对IP层容量的测量方法提出了要求。这份新附录是多年研究的结果,也是对ITU-T第12研究组原则的应用。该原则根据实验室和现场测量中的“基本事实”参考,对性能参数和测量方法做出准确评估。与流量相关的吞吐量参数和测量方法(可靠的输送传输)仍有待进一步研究,本文明确区分了这两个IP层的容量参数。同样,描述特定可靠传输层协议(TCP)性能的参数仍有待进一步研究,同时我们亦认识到互联网可靠传输协议的不断变化是当下研究的主题。附录B为附录A中定义的IP容量测量方法提供了另一种能力更强的搜索算法。 |
