网关是物联网（IoT）系统的重要组成部分，使物联网设备能够连接通信网络。边缘计算技术可使物联网受益，在物联网设备附近提供计算、存储、网络连接和智能。与通用网关[ITU-T Y.4101]相较，物联网中边缘计算实现的网关（物联网边缘计算网关）具有支持物联网设备、物联网平台和物联网应用服务器之间服务层互通和应用层互通的额外能力。此外，物联网边缘计算网关支持对时间、时延、抖动和分组丢失敏感的物联网应用的数据传输能力。基于物联网应用网关的共同要求和能力[ITU-T Y.4101]和支持边缘计算的物联网要求[ITU-T Y.4208]，规定了物联网边缘计算网关的附加能力和能力框架。还提供了物联网边缘计算网关适用性的实例。 |
