Approved by HL7 as a Draft Standard for Trial Use (DSTU) in 2011-01. Superseded by the normative version issued 2017-01.
3. Justification for the specific reference:
The ITU-T H.810 architecture uses HL7 Implementation Guide for Clinical Document Architecture, Release 2 (HL7 CDA CD). The purpose of this document is to describe constraints on the Clinical Document Architecture Release 2 (CDA R2) header and body elements used to express Privacy Consent Directive documents.

Approved by HL7 as a Draft Standard for Trial Use (DSTU) in 2011-01. The comment period for use of this draft standard shall end 24 months from the date of publication. Following this 24 month evaluation period, this draft standard, revised as necessary, will be submitted to a normative ballot in preparation for approval by ANSI as an American National Standard. Implementations of this draft standard shall be viable throughout the normative ballot process and for up to six months after publication of the relevant normative standard.
