This Recommendation identifies specific requirements of the IoT for supporting Business Process Management. This Recommendation builds on common requirements of the IoT [ITU-T Y.4100] in terms of the specific requirements that the IoT is expected to provide in order to support more efficiently Business Process Management applications, and to be able to support some advanced and complex BPM scenarios that are currently difficult to implement using IoT.
NOTE - In the other way, BPM can also be beneficial for IoT applications, but this is not considered in the scope of this recommendation.
