Summary: Distributed cloud with both regional cloud and edge cloud has quite outstanding advantages of high-speed, high-efficiency and high performance. Otherwise, regional cloud and edge cloud bring new security risks. For core cloud and regional cloud, which link with multiple subordinate clouds, are more likely to have security threats such as interface attack, transmission interception, counterfeit request, and so on. For edge cloud, it is more likely to have security threats such as firewall attack, counterfeit consumer, and so on. It is easy to see that distributed cloud is much more likely to be attacked when compared with traditional cloud, thus its security problem should be paid more attention and be solved as soon as possible. This recommendation analyses security threats for distributed cloud, and provides security guidelines for distributed cloud in core cloud level, regional cloud level and edge cloud level.
