Summary: With the rapid evolution of 5G networks and IoT technology in recent years, an increasing number of devices are connected to the Internet, producing an enormous amount of data and network resource demands. The Internet today has evolved into a relatively open platform with complex and rich resources to adapt to the diverse network environment. Therefore, for these diverse network resources, how to effectively promote the interconnection and comprehensive sharing of resources to meet the demands of diversified services is a critical issue in the future development of computer network technology. To satisfy the needs of flexible sharing of network resources in the future network, DLT can be utilized as a data carrier for resource status, for allocating computing, storage, and network resources of infrastructure layer and network layer to applications to achieve efficient distributed resource sharing. By applying consensus algorithm and smart contracts, DLT can promote flexible network resource sharing among enterprises, breaking the phenomenon of data island, and improve the utilization rate of network resources. Q2/SG13 had already initiated a draft recommendation on the scenarios and requirements of scenarios and requirements of network resource sharing based on distributed ledger technology (Y.NRS-DLT-reqts), which has provide the general framework, requirements and capabilities of network resource sharing based on distributed ledger technology (NRS-DLT). The new work item proposed in this contribution aims to provide functional architecture of the network resource sharing based on DLT, which is described from a set of functional components. The functional components consist of sets of functions that are required to perform the NRS-DLT capabilities as described in [ITU-T Y.NRS-DLT-reqts].
