This Recommendation specifies the quality of service (QoS) assurance-related requirements and framework for computing and network convergence (CNC) supported by IMT-2020 and beyond. Computing and network convergence is computing and network resource joint optimization based on the awareness, control and management over network and computing resources. QoS assurance are functionalities or mechanisms that enable service providers to make statements with a degree of confidence that the service meets the quality characteristics or objectives defined elsewhere.
This Recommendation addresses the following aspects of QoS assurance for computing and network convergence, in the context of IMT-2020 and beyond:
