Summary: This Recommendation includes a methodology adapted to the ICT sector, allowing ICT sector members to assess their compliance with the requirements defined by the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), supplementing the existing general methodology developed by the TCFD regarding the reporting of Governance, Strategy, Risk management and Metrics and objectives related to climate risks and opportunities. In particular the Recommendation addresses those aspects that are not organization-specific but for which ICT organizations could benefit from an overall sector perspective and a sector-level alignment. Consequently, the Recommendation focus on four disclosure topics Risks and opportunities, Resilience of Strategy, Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG Emissions, Climate Related Targets. It is in highly importance for European Commission on legislation and financial aids. Additionally, it can be make significantcontribute significantly difference on sustainable development globally in the future.
