Summary: This Recommendation specifies the requirements and framework for an effective and efficient solution of jitter guarantee for dynamic traffic with arbitrary input patterns in large-scale networks including IMT-2020 and beyond. The framework in this Recommendation is composed of the time-stamping and the buffering functions at the network boundary. It is scalable and does not rely on time synchronization or slot scheduling.
