This technical report analyzes the security requirements and the existing security mechanisms of the IMT-2020 system, leading to the gaps of security challenges which need to be coped with during the operation and management of the telecommunications network. Based on that, a built-in security framework for the evolved telecommunications network is established, so that the investigated security challenges are able to be addressed at the planning and implementation stage of the telecommunications network, and a reliable, flexible, dynamic and in-depth security protection system within the telecommunications network is formed
