This new draft Recommendation introduces different types of cooling technologies and presents features of cooling technology applicable to different information communication technology (ICT) installations including an analysis of their benefits and limitations. It identifies performance metrics and criteria for the optimal use of cooling systems in order to select an appropriate cooling technology. And then, it specifies functional requirements of cooling systems and describes deployment models of cooling systems with migration strategies taking into account different ICT installations.
