Summary:
|
IoT-enabled smart education systems leverage extensive digitalization, interactive and smart services to substantially enhance learning experiences, teaching efficiency, and adaptability of content. The capabilities for these systems have direct impacts on the improvement of educational quality. The evaluation of these capabilities plays a significant role in effectively advancing the application of smart education and guiding the evolution of smart education system platforms. The establishment of comprehensive and unified key performance indicators for the assessment of the capabilities in IoT-enabled smart education can promote the widespread adoption of smart education and guide the evolution of smart education system platforms.
This recommendation specifies the evaluation of capabilities for IoT-enabled frameworks of smart education. It provides the key performance indicators of capabilities evaluation based on the dimensions of user experience and engagement, digital information management, intelligent processing, rationality and reliability of information and algorithms, digital information sensing and acquisition for the smart education.
