Summary:
|
Cloud-based AR systems have a wider range of application scenarios, such as cloud-based AR teaching, cloud-based AR games, cloud-based AR industrial maintenance, and cloud-based AR cultural relics display for immersive multiplayer experience.
The draft Recommendation ITU-T F.CAR-reqs, specifies a reference framework and basic requirements for cloud-based AR systems. Based on it, we believe that it is necessary to clarify the relevant functional blocks of each link related to cloud-based AR systems and the functional units to which each functional blocks belongs.
This Recommendation specifies the functions of content layer, control layer, resource layer, network layer, terminal layer, security and OA&M, according to the draft Recommendation ITU-T F.CAR-reqs' requirements about content layer, control layer, resource layer, network layer, terminal layer, security and OA&M.
This Recommendation can lay the foundation of functional architecture for other related standards of cloud-based AR systems.
