Summary: IoT-based electric power infrastructure monitoring system (IoT-EPIMS) relies on a large number of sensing devices for data acquisition and operational control. With the digitalization of the electric power industry, the number and diversity of sensing devices have been increasing, especially different security requirements stemming from the different electric power services. To enhance the security of IoT-EPIMS, the security risks and security framework for sensing devices to access IoT-EPIMS, security requirements for three types of sensing devices to access IoT-EPIMS and use cases are supplemented to ITU-T Y.4221.
