What is the difference between ITU-T and TSB?
The International Telecommunication Union - Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) acts as a platform for governments and the private sector to coordinate the development of international standards for global telecom networks and services.
The Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (TSB) is the secretariat of ITU-T, and is headed by an elected Director responsible for regularly updating the work programme of the Sector which is approved by WTSA, in consultation with the chairmen of ITU-T study groups and the Telecommunication Standardization Advisory Group (TSAG).
TSB provides provides services for participants in ITU-T's work, diffuses information on international telecommunications worldwide and establishes agreements with other standards development organizations.
