Jorge Martínez, Partner at Axon Consulting, has over 10 year of international experience in consulting and operations in the ICT sector and has played a pivotal role in several advisory engagements in Europe, Americas, Middle East and Africa regions.

Jorge has led during the last 10 years several engagements related to regulatory cost modelling for the European Commission, a large number of NRAs and operators worldwide, having an extensive track record in the implementation of regulatory costing tools and operations profitability monitoring tools.

Jorge has also advised international organisations, NRAs and governments in the development of policies and regulations associated to new technological developments. For instance, Jorge directed the study commissioned by the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) about the “Study on Implications of 5G Deployment on Future Business Models” and he managed the development of the Cloud Computing Regulatory Framework for Saudi Arabia.

Jorge holds an MSc in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Zaragoza (Spain), graduating with Honours, and he received Telefonica’s Best Telecommunication Engineer Award (2010 class). Jorge speaks fluently Spanish and English.
