Pavel Tkach is First Deputy Minister of Communication and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus.

Mr. Tkach supervises issues, such as: Implementation of united state policy in the field of telecommunication, state regulation and management of telecom operators; coordination of activities on creation and development of telecom networks; coordination of legal entities’ activities in the field of telecommunications; requirements to building, numbering, technical ensuring of the telecommunication network functioning; planning of radiofrequency spectrum use; international legal protection of frequency territorial assignments of radio electronic means and satellite communication systems; state regulation in the field of informatizaiton; stimulation of creation of information technologies; coordination of work with mass media, establishment of requirements of compatibility of information resources, information systems, and information networks; and others.

Also, Mr. Tkach coordinates activities of organizations which are part of the system of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization, such as: Republican Unitary Telecommunication Enterprise Beltelecom; Republican Unitary Enterprise on Telecommunication Supervision BelGIE; Publlic Corporation Promsvyaz.

Before appointment as Deputy Minister of Communication and Informatization, Mr. Tkach was Deputy Director, Department of Information Technologies, Eurasian Economic Commission.
