Mr. Osamu Kamimura is Vice President and Head of Spectrum Policy Division at SoftBank Corp. and is responsible for international standardization and radio related regulatory activities relating to SoftBank's mobile telecommunications business. He has more than 20 years of experience in the mobile telecommunications industry including activities such as the engineering development of antennas for base stations, development of ITU-R documents, coordination of related global/domestic regulations and so on. He currently leads SoftBank's international standardization and radio related regulatory activities for 5th Generation Mobile Communications System (5G) and beyond as well as activities relating to the HAPS project.
