Gabriela Gutiérrez Salas is General Deputy Director of Statistics and Indicators Analysis at the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) in Mexico where she in charge of quarterly publishing key indicators of the telecommunication and broadcasting sectors to monitor its performance and evolution. She is also responsible for coordinating the IFT statistical yearbook, developing specialized studies and analysis, and preparing, along with the National Institute of Statistics and Geography and the Ministry of Communications and Transportation, the questionnaire of the National Survey on Availability and Use of Information Technologies in Households. From 2008 to 2014, she worked at the National Council for the Evaluation of Social Development Policy where she evaluated the design and the indicators of conditional cash transfer programs from different sectors: education, health, social development, agricultural, economy, environment, among others.

Gabriela holds a Master's degree in Economics from the Colegio de México and has experience in the design and analysis of indicators, impact evaluation, and competition in telecommunication and broadcasting.
