Dr. Suguru Mizunoya currently works for the Data and Analytics Section in NYHQ as the Senior Advisor on Statistics and Monitoring (Education). Prior to UNICEF, Dr. Mizunoya was the Assistant Director and Professor of Global Political Economy Programme of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Chief of Education in UNICEF Kenya, and consultants for the World Bank, the ILO, UNESCO and UNICEF in Asia, Middle East, Pacific and Africa since 2002. His main interests include education, human capital development and global monitoring of child SDGs.
