Cao Zhiyu is the Director of the Warning Division at the National Early Warning Center, China. Mr. Cao has more than 10 years of experience as an expert in issuing early warnings, since construction of China's National Early Warning Release System started. He graduated from the Mathematics Department of Harbin Institute of Technology, and subsequently worked at system development in China Meteorological Administration. He is currently doing research on early warning release systems and comprehensive capabilities of disaster prevention and reduction.
