Silvio De Nicola (PhD, MS) is an Officer of the Italian Communication Authority (AGCOM). He has worked as consultant for several telecommunication companies (TIM, Alcatel, Huawey, etc). Since 2009, he works for AGCOM, participating in several international expert groups on ICT. He holds a degree in Engineering from the University of Naples, a PhD from the University of Hong Kong, and a Master the European University Institute. He has a number of publications in international refereed journals, and his interest lies in data processing, information design, and knowledge network.
