Shazna Zuhyle

Shazna Zuhyle drives the research development for LIRNEasia, a think tank that takes research to policy in Asia and the Pacific, and engages in all things ICT. She manages multiple research projects that focus on measuring and benchmarking broadband quality of service as experienced by users in South Asia and Southeast Asia and on using mobile network big data for development in Sri Lanka.

In 2017 Shazna lead the sub-committee that proposed revisions to the ITU's ICT price benchmarking methodology.

Her interests also lie in communication solutions for Disaster Risk Management and Disaster Risk Reduction. She holds an MSc in Telecommunications from University College London (UCL), UK.
