Sierra Tel continues to recognize the importance of keeping customers connected during these unprecedented times: "We understand that many families are still working from home, students are participating in on-line school programs, and many of our customers are still temporarily unemployed". To help ease the economic hardship customers may have incurred, Sierra Tel discounted their DSL internet service plans by 25%, and by 50% for those on low income service, in June and July 2020. Also, to continue to assist customers offering fair and reasonable payment plans for up to six months from June 30, 2020.
