| As the BBC is no longer able to hold events to celebrate International Girls in ICT Day at UK broadcasting centres as much as possible has been transferred online. The girls and teachers who were invited to the physical events will join BBC STEM staff on a 2-hour webinar from 1000 -1200. Women from BBC WiSTEM (the network for women working in STEM roles at BBC) will host, explaining that the girls are part of a global day of events. There will be demos and short tasks showing how ICT underpins much of what we do as broadcasters and a Q&A with BBC and EBU women engineers and technologists ready to answer questions about what they do. The event will finish with a quiz and, we hope, lots of girls saying they want to come and work with us at the BBC!
