Girls in KING ICT are organizing a webinar that consists of live talks and workshop. Theme for the talks is „Things I would tell my 17-year-old self“.
The lecturers will share with attendees their stories about education, career progress and all the challenges they have encountered along the way. Attendees will be able to get insights and learn about the ICT industry firsthand.
After the lectures, they will actively participate in the „mKino“ workshop. Workshop tasks relate to the business analysis, testing, design and presentation of software solutions, all under the professional guidance of KING ICT's employees who will mentor them. In this way, girls will be able to try out some of the jobs we have and just for the moment get the real feeling of working in ICT.
We choose to use COVID-19 situation as opportunity to demonstrate remote ICT activities and in this way to inspire girls to explore the ICT world. We hope this webinar will direct and empower them to pursue a career in the ICT industry.
