Description of the event

On the occasion of the International Girls in ICT Day 2021 on April 22, Socialinnov dedicates the week 19-23/04 exclusively to female students who want to take their first steps in the ICT industry!The seminar is addressed to students from 13 to 18 years old.How can we research and understand the needs and problems of a fellow human being?How can we create new ideas to improve his / her daily life based on our research data?How can we know if these new ideas will find a response?Discussing the steps of design thinking methodology we will see how we go from observing a problem to a complete proposal.

Socialinnov is an NGO based in Greece, that acts as technology educational hive with a mission to transform education and offer to youth, underserved communities and educators the opportunity to acquire training in digital skills and gain agile business skills in order to upskill and reskill professionally. Socialinnov has several initiatives (START Project, Tech Talent School, Tech Academy) that support the wider communities enhancing their digital capabilities and skills. Up to date Socialinnov has trained more than 35.000 beneficiaries in various underserved communities.
