Description of the event
|
Women studying and working in ICT sectors are a minority in Italy: only 30% are women, 70% are men.012factory is an innovation hub and startup incubator supporting new entrepreneurs in ICT as Maria Marino (CEO of the startup Itaprosol) and offering consultancy for applying to subsidized finance programs for women in Southern Italy.Moreover, 012factory fosters vocational education training mobilities: our Erasmus+ program Hawk3D gives to school leavers in IT and digital sector the opportunity to do a training experience in foreign companies in Spain, Germany and Malta.In occasion of Girls in ICT Day, we will tell the story of three young women through our social network:- Maria, CEO of Itaprosol, an innovative startup that offers digital solutions to improve the process of calls for tenders,- Leandra Lopez and Cristiana Fersini, two girls with a high school diploma in Computer Technology and Telecommunications who had an Erasmus+ experience in a Spanish company offering IT support and computer reparation services in Barcelona.We will involve technical high schools to promote the initiative and foster young women's entrepreneurial and digital skills in ICT.

We are a start-up incubator and Benefit Corporation based in Caserta, Italy and certified by the Ministry of Economic Development. We support the creation and the growth of start-ups and new entrepreneurs that want to try if their idea works and have success on the market, with particular attention to sustainability and local development.This involves a wide range of activities and consultancy services that we offer to both start-ups and institutions in Italy and beyond, and research in partnership with universities.In addition, we promote several projects in the field of education: 012factory is an accredited body for Erasmus+ (Vocational and Educational Training mobility for school leavers) and organize courses and project works in partnerships with schools.Besides education, our European project writing and management activities concern the areas of innovation, agriculture, sustainability, economics and creativity.
