Description of the event
|
With the many positives the internet brings, it comes with risks of personal security especially to the uninformed and the complacent. With hybrid learning becoming necessary, there is a growing need for regular cyber security awareness sessions with students. These sessions will help them to identify and guard against the threats lurking online and can also help to prepare and deal with new and emerging attacks.In a session entitled Cyber Bright - Cyber Right we will engage with the students in scenario analyses to identify common cyber threats, as well as provide tips on cyber-security best practices.Together we will learn to Stop-Think- Connect as the speed of connectedness in the cyberspace is increasing. Cyber-security is a shared responsibility that begins and ends with each one of us.
