Description of the event
The Coding Girls Educational Alliance focuses on STEM education, from programming to artificial intelligence, as a fundamental fulcrum to enable women to become protagonists of the jobs of the future. On Thursday, April 28 from 10:30 to 1:00 pm, there will be a live event and activities in the Universities of Turin, Milan, Rome and Palermo.For the GICT Day, the Coding Girls and participating universities, the opening event will be an opportunity to present the results achieved by the eighth edition of Coding Girls, the program organized by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and US Embassy in Roma with Microsoft Italy.The live session, which will be moderated by RAI Journalist Alma Grandin, will be opened by Roberta Cocco, Counsellor to the Minister for Technological Innovation and Digital Transition. Speakers include Mirta Michilli, Director General, Fondazione Mondo Digitale; Ruth Newman, Deputy Spokesperson, US Embassy, Rome; Annamaria Bottero, Director, Customer Experience & Success Division, Microsoft Italia; Rosanna Ventrella, Vice-President, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo. Elisa Benetti, Senior Consultant, @ asUgo and partner Women in Big Data, will conclude the live session.
