The ScratchIT Competition is geared towards the female student population within the age group of 12 – 18 and required them to work in teams to develop an animation in Scratch around the themes of the promotion of ICT in Education, Health, Agriculture, or the NTRC to vie for a grand prize of $1,500.00 XCD for the winning team and $1,500.00 XCD for the winning school. 

Scratch is a free online programming language where students can program their own interactive stories, games and animations. The ScratchIT competition aims to encourage the female students to think creatively, reason systematically and work collaboratively to complete this team project.
